Workshop shoe care 11 september

During our shoe shine workshop, we teach you how to properly maintain your shoes and how to use all the different care products. How do you clean leather, how do you nourish that leather afterwards, how do you restore the colour of leather, how do you touch up damage? You will get answers to those kinds of questions while polishing your shoes. We guide you through the entire process from cleaning to a high gloss finish and tell you all about the products we use in the meantime.

Saphir Medal d'Or

During the workshop we work exclusively with the products of Saphir Médaille d'Or, the best shoe polish brand in the world. Saphir's products are based on natural products such as beeswax, mink oil, and natural turpentine made from pine trees. This combination of ingredients makes the perfect combination for the care of leather without making concessions in the form of synthetic components that affect the leather in the long term.

How long does the workshop take?

The course takes about one to one and a half hours depending on how enthusiastically the candidates are cleaning. We focus entirely on maintaining smooth leather (calf leather) shoes, but if you are interested we can also give a brief explanation about cleaning suede shoes if time allows.
